Community Housing Network & AmeriCorps Offer Two New Positions
Troy, MI - December 19, 2008 is the application deadline to join Community Housing Network and the AmeriCorps Michigan Campaign to End Homelessness. Two new positions are available on a twelve month service team to provide services and outreach to the homeless!
This is a full time AmeriCorps position and includes several activities:
- Outreach to the homeless community.
- Provide housing and recovery resource information to those in need.
- Link consumers to supportive housing service providers to develop housing goals and interventions in the person-centered-planning process.
- Take an active roll in distributing Homeless Assistance Recovery Program (HARP) voucher applications to eligible participants.
