Housing Resource Center (HRC) Housing Assistance Newsletter
The HRC receives many housing questions that you may also have. We also keep a "pulse" on the hot topics in housing so that we can keep the people we serve informed. Whether you are an individual pursuing housing, a family member trying to access housing or help for a relative, or a service provider exploring available housing programs, this monthly newsletter may be for you.
Getting My Own Address (GMOA) e-Network News
The Getting My Own Address newsletter provides information for individuals with disabilities and their families regarding resources and usable information to make living in their own home, with appropriate supports, a reality. Information on upcoming Getting My Own Address presentations, training by Community Housing Network team members, and support group topics will be provided. Also included will be information on other transition topics and opportunities, community events, resources, and organizations that may be helpful in creating successful long-term housing plans.
Section 8 Alert
Need a Section 8 voucher? Our staff is constantly monitoring and working with the public housing commissions that serve Southeast Michigan to know when a Section 8 waiting list will be open to take new names. Sign up for the alert list and we will alert you via email regarding public housing commission Section 8 waiting list openings and how to apply.
