Community Overview
Erin Park features 52 high quality, duplex style, one, two and three bedroom homes with a community building for residents. All 52 homes will be long term rentals, with the opportunity to purchase after 15 years. 25 of the homes are Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units, with a project based voucher and additional supportive services. The community is located off of Dale Ave., in Eastpointe. Occupancy began in early 2021. All of the units are for households between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Erin Park offers multiple amenities including, a community space, 2 playgrounds and onsite support staff. There are nearby community amenities such as public transportation, grocery stores, places of worship, recreational spaces and healthcare facilities.
Community Requirements
Erin Park is a mixed-income development. The homes are available for individuals and families earning between 30% and 80% of Macomb County’s Area Median Income (AMI). AMI is subject to change. These limits determine monthly rents and for which homes households are eligible. Household’s for the PSH units are pulled from the county’s registry. To be placed on the registry you must meet HUD’s category one (1) definition of experiencing homelessness: living unsheltered on the street, living in a homeless shelter, living in a hotel being paid for by a service agency, living in a place not meant for human habitation.
