About the guide
The GMOA Guide includes the steps, options and choices for planning for housing in the community you choose. Worksheets provide concrete examples of the options and choices available and assist the individual planning their housing to create a customized plan.
The GMOA guide was compiled with input from individuals with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, their families, and supports (including teachers, transition coordinators, supports coordinators, caregivers and others).
How to use the guide
We strongly recommend reading the “How to Use the Guide” section first. This will help you understand how the worksheets and chapters work together to help develop an individual’s long-term housing plan.
