Shelley Brinkmann

Vice President of Programs

Shelley Brinkmann believes that learning from individuals who are different from ourselves challenges our thinking and makes us more compassionate human beings. To Shelley, success is defined as making a difference by creating a more accepting society. Shelley has worked for CHN since its inception in October 2001. Starting as a Property Manager, Shelley moved on to become the Director of the Property and Asset Management and is currently the Vice President of Programs.

As Vice President of Programs, Shelley leads strategic leadership for setting and guiding departmental/program goals and strategies while providing oversight and support to the directors and staff who contribute to and manage vital programs for CHN.  In her role, Shelley and her team are committed to the continuous improvement, impact, and expansion of programs that support our participants, including Permanent Supportive Housing, Rapid ReHousing, PATH Homeless Street Outreach, Housing Counseling, Eviction Prevention, and Housing Navigation services.

Shelley has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.

  • Alumna of Leadership Oakland
  • Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University

Shelley’s background in social work and with individuals with physical, cognitive and/or emotional impairments is a guiding force behind her work.
