Emmett Jones Memorial Award – 2015

Opening Doors – Transforming Lives
We provide a variety of housing options to meet the varied needs and desires of those in our programs. This overview shows some of the choices we offer for safe, decent, and affordable housing as well as the opportunity to “meet” some of the residents.
Our Housing Resource Center
The Housing Resource Center is a combined call center, online housing library, and community-based resource, providing information and technical assistance for people and their families facing crises such as homelessness, eviction, foreclosure, fair housing discrimination and affordability.
Our Foreclosure Prevention Counseling service
C.J. Felton, our director of Resource Development and Communications, talks about the current foreclosure situation in SE Michigan and foreclosure prevention suggestions and resources at the City Council meeting in Oak Park.
