Getting My Own Address (GMOA) is a program to educate and assist individuals with any disability, their families, and other natural and professional supports in creating a successful long-term housing plan that can be implemented at a time of choice or need.
The GMOA guide was compiled with input from individuals with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities, and their families and supports (including teachers, transition coordinators, supports coordinators, caregivers, and others.
The program makes clear the steps, options and choices that are available to plan for housing in the community of one's choice. It’s never too early to make a plan!
