Our work is rooted in the idea that decent, affordable, and stable housing is a necessary foundation for a healthy, successful life. Community Housing Network has a demonstrated track record and depth of experience in housing development, crisis response, supportive services, homeownership programming and homeless response spanning more than two decades across Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.


900+ Units Added
Affordable Housing Development
CHN has added more than 900 units of affordable housing to the landscape across Michigan, and we continue to actively seek opportunities to create high-quality residential rental homes.
26,000 Calls Per Year
Housing Resources & Services
In 2025, our Housing Resource Center (HRC) fielded 26,000 inquiries and assisted more than 18,000 Oakland County individuals facing homelessness and housing instability. Our caring Housing Navigators, Case Managers, and Housing Educators work one-on-one with individuals and families to find affordable housing, short-term and long-term rentals, homeownership options, and supportive and accessible homes for people with disabilities.
315 People Served
Rapid Rehousing
The Rapid Rehousing program helps vulnerable families coming from homelessness with a rental subsidy for up to 12 months. In 2025, we placed 315 people, more than half children, into homes.
610 PSH This Year
Permanent Supportive Housing
We continued to be the largest permanent supportive housing provider in Oakland and Macomb counties, as well as offering services in Wayne County. CHN served 610 people, including 196 children, with leasing assistance and other essential support.
211 Homeless Individuals
Homeless Street Outreach
The Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) program serves the most vulnerable and hard-to-reach people in Oakland and Macomb counties who are homeless and living on the streets. Our PATH Street Outreach team engaged 211 people experiencing homelessness, providing them with direct services or connecting them to other available resources.
39 People Helped
Homeless Prevention Programs
Our Homeless Prevention services helped an additional 39 people – more than half children – with financial assistance or case management services.
291 Households Educated
Homebuyer & Financial Education
Our certified Housing Counselors educated 291 households through workshops on credit, debt, budgeting, and tenant/homeowner rights and provided 25 households with one-on-one housing counseling.
23,446 People Helped
Helping the Community
In 2025, we helped 23,446 people, including more than 7,500 children find a home or remain housed. ork helped 23,446 people, including more than 7,500 children, find a stable home or remain housed. Through $13.2 million invested locally, families found homes or avoided displacement; people with disabilities lived safely and as independently as possible, and individuals regained footing during difficult moments.
